Though the food quality is not what it used to be and there are definitely fewer choices especially the desserts but everyone was great at GC Merrill location, our server was great and was very happy with her $6 tip. She said ohhh thank you 😊, I forgot her name sorry. But I don’t want you guys to close down like the other location. Will pick GC over the Chow place on Southside any day. Cheers

Pleasantly surprised. I was on business in Jacksonville, and decided to have dinner at Golden Corral. As I searched for a table, I spotted a familiar face, Elaina, she use to wait on my mother and I at ole times in Brunswick. So glad she works here now, knowing I will get great service, a great smile, and always a positive attitude. Thank you and look forward to many more visits.

Zori was an amazing waitress at Golden Corral. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks were always full and everything was taken care of. Great service and a great attitude. Thanks for making our visit awesome! FOOD WAS AMAZING!!

Golden Corral serves its purpose as a no-fuss, all-you-can-eat option. It's a perfectly okay choice for a casual, undemanding meal with family, but don't go expecting culinary excellence or a tranquil dining experience. You get what you pay for: lots of food, without too many frills.

The buffet had a wide variety of options, everything was fresh, well-stocked, and tasted amazing. There was something for everyone, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I also want to give a special shout-out to our server Claudia — she was absolutely wonderful. Super friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. She really added to the experience and made the celebration feel special. Definitely a great spot for celebrations, casual dining, or just coming hungry and leaving happy. Would 100% come back!
